This site began with one small red poodle from Beijing named Buding 布丁 — “pudding” — who spent fourteen-odd years crossing continents, escaping restaurants, herding sheep, frightening middle schoolers at Yosemite, and holding one particular family together. He died in his person’s arms on December 27, 2025. His tribute is the first one here.

loved.pet exists because the love we share with animals is real love — and real love deserves a place. Not a feed that scrolls away, not a folder of photos no one opens, but a page of their own: their face, their story, their people, and a candle anyone who remembers them can light.
