What we collect. If you create an account: your email address, a display name you choose, and the content you submit (photos, videos, stories, comments). If you just browse: standard server logs kept by our hosting providers (IP address, pages requested). We do not run advertising and we do not sell personal information.
Where it lives. The Site is hosted on Netlify; accounts, content, and uploads are stored with Supabase. Both act as our service providers and store data in the United States.
What is public. Tributes are public web pages once approved — including the animal's name and story, the photos and videos you add, the "people" and place fields you fill in, and your display name on comments. Please fill in only what you're comfortable sharing publicly; your email address is never shown.
Cookies & local storage. We use only what's needed to keep you signed in and to remember small things like candles you've lit. No third-party advertising or tracking cookies.
Children. The Site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information. If you believe a child has provided information, contact us and we will delete it.
Your choices. You can edit or delete your comments and request removal of your tributes or your entire account at any time by signing in or emailing us. We'll act within a reasonable period, and backups purge on their own schedule.
